The FARO Laser Scanner LS creates 3D-Scans, which consist of 3D-Pixels but with spatial coordinates. They also do have an intensity value that results in a black and white picture. So far it has been difficult and time consuming to add high quality color information to a 3D-Laser Scan.

The new Color Extension of the FARO LS Series now allows for quick color scanning with high quality and minimum effort. FARO thus consequently proceeds to offer high quality, high speed and at the same time economical color solution, which has a huge market potential.
