FARO Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: FARO), the world’s most trusted source for 3D measurement, imaging, and realization technology, is proud to present the sixth edition of the annual FARO 3D User Conference, specifically organized for the Asia Pacific region.
In 2018, the FARO 3D User Conference will be held in three cosmopolitan cities, Guangzhou (China), Tokyo (Japan) and Jakarta (Indonesia), to increase accessibility to highly qualified targeted audience, who range from professors and government personnel, to key practitioners.
FARO is excited to announce the introduction of a two-day FARO 3D User Conference in China, made possible by the overwhelming response received for the one-day event last year! Tokyo and Jakarta will be a one-day event.
The conference continues to provide a platform for the collaborative sharing of ideas among all stakeholders, discover innovative solutions and explore potential of the 3D terrestrial laser scanning technology. As part of the conference experience, participants will have the opportunity to interact with premium technology solution companies, who will be presenting their solutions and products in the ‘Technology Track’ segment.
With good representation from all sectors of the global community such as Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC), Heritage, Facility Management and Shipbuilding industries, FARO’s 3D User Conference is the industry’s most significant meeting point.
The global 3D Scanning market is forecasted to reach US$2.3 billion in 2021, mainly contributed by the accelerated adoption of building information modelling (BIM) practices within the construction industry.
Asia, driven by new infrastructure in developing markets, is projected to hit US$492million in 2021.
“FARO is focused on demonstrating our commitment to the Asia Pacific Region with clear, concrete action” said Joseph Arezone, Chief Commercial Officer. “We are heartened by the overwhelming positive support as we have brought new products and programs to life over the past five years. To that end, we are pleased to extend our well received 2018 FARO 3D User conference in China to two full days, in addition to once again hosting sister 2018 3D User Conferences in Japan and Indonesia, respectively.”
Arezone added, “We will all uniquely benefit through these interactive venues to align on key industry dynamics, share expertise in real time discussion forums, and understand longer term impacts of recent technological advancements in the market. We are looking forward to seeing you in person.”
