The Laser Line Probe HD is a non-contact 3D laser scanning attachment for the FARO® FaroArm®. When used with the FaroArm, the system is known as the FARO ScanArm HD. The ScanArm HD offers capabilities such as point cloud comparison with CAD, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering and 3D modeling of free-form surfaces. The ScanArm HD’s new blue laser offers 50% better optical resolution and reduction in speckle noise than a red laser scanner due to its intrinsic higher resolution. The ScanArm HD is ideal for quality inspection and product development.
