Avi Ray-Chaudhuri, Ph.D.

Avi joined FARO in 2020 with over 20 years of leadership success in diverse industries including semiconductor, advanced lithography and laser development. Leading the Hardware R&D organization, he is responsible for developing and delivering differentiated, high-quality products that uniquely solve customers’ most challenging problems. Prior to FARO, Avi worked at KLA Corporation, Nanometrics, and Lumentum in various engineering leadership roles. He earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BSE in electrical engineering from Princeton University.
