A pioneer in the field of public safety diagramming, Derik co-founded The CAD Zone in 1990 before it was later acquired by FARO in 2014. At FARO, Derik took on the role of Director of Software Development for Public Safety Applications (PSA) and currently leads a team of accomplished developers, reinforcing his ongoing commitment to drive software innovation in the service of public safety.

 

Matt Brown

Matt Brown - Senior Software Engineer, FARO Zone Software

A seasoned professional in the field, with expertise in CAD and CAD-related products for public safety. One of his notable contributions is the creation of a two-letter command shortcut system for CAD operations.
