This webinar focuses on diving into internationally recognized cases and shows you how the use of laser scanners, photogrammetry and structured light scanners were used to find the truth in the evidence and provide extraordinary flexibility, efficiency and diligence in their investigations and court presentations.

Eugene Liscio - Webinar SpeakerEugene Liscio is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada and is the owner of ai2-3D, a consulting company that specializes in 3D forensic documentation, analysis and visualizations. Eugene has testified in court in both the US and Canada utilizing 3D technologies such as photogrammetry and laser scanning and has also provided interactive 3D crime scene testimony in court.

Eugene was called to assist the Ontario Provincial Police in the shooting at the Canadian House of Commons and has also worked with the RCMP, OPP, SIU and other police agencies to assist in officer involved shootings.

He is also the Past-President of the International Association of Forensic and Security Metrology (IAFSM) and is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario, the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts, Canadian Identification Society and the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.

Currently, Eugene is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where he teaches a 3D Forensic Reconstruction and Mapping course as part of the Forensic Sciences Program. Eugene is actively engaged in research and validation by mentoring students in areas such as Bullet Trajectory Analysis, Area of Origin Analysis of Bloodstain Impacts, Laser Scanner Accuracy, Clandestine Grave Documentation and 3D Scanning for Autopsies to name a few.
