Join FARO INSIGHT for a hands-on workshop at Kenner Police Department and learn how to use drone-based point clouds in Zone 3D to support clearer, more complete scene analysis and deliverables.
In this workshop, we will explore how to:
- Build point clouds from drone imagery and understand how they can support public safety scene documentation.
- Combine aerial data with terrestrial laser scans to create a more complete view of the scene.
- Capture drone imagery with the right considerations for point cloud generation and downstream use.
- Work with FARO INSIGHT FotoPoints and Zone 3D to process, review, and use drone-based data.
- Prepare deliverables that support investigation, reporting, and courtroom presentation needs.

Before You Attend: Please bring your own software computer, if possible, and complete all Windows and software updates before class. A limited number of computers will be available for attendees who need one. Drones and scanners are not required for participation.
