Michael Carris, Ph.D.

Mike joined FARO in 2019 and has over 25 years of global experience in applications, engineering and product marketing. Prior to FARO, he was the Director of Business Development and a Business Segment at Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly FEI), a leading supplier of electron microscopes for the materials science, life sciences and the semiconductor industry. Previously, Mike served as the General Manager of a business unit at Nanometrics, a leading supplier of metrology equipment to the semiconductor industry. Mike holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Florida State University and a B.S. in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
