Exports SCENE panoramas and SCAN2FX Photo Projectors as 3D aligned cameras and projectors for Flame
With the SCAN2FX Exporter for Flame, quickly turn a FARO SCENE Software scan project into a Flame composition. The SCAN2FX Exporter for Flame automatically generates a batch composition, imports all the required images clips and sets up an action node with projectors and cameras inside Flame for 3D visual effects compositing. Flame artists can then add geometry and use the 3D accurate projections generated by SCAN2FX for compositing work.

- Use the 3D projectors generated by SCAN2FX to recreate a textured 3D environment of your scene in Flame for VFX.
- Create geometry in Flame and apply the projections created by SCAN2FX as textures.
- Use Flame’s award-winning node-based compositing and action module to create complex VFX and compositions based on your scanned environments.
- Use Flame’s g-masks to mask out areas, and control where which SCAN2FX projection applies.
The optional SCAN2FX Photo Projector module lets users align photos and panoramas from other cameras (e.g. DSLR) to the 3D scene and then export them as 3D cameras and projectors to Flame (with SCAN2FX Exporter for Flame). Users can also use the optional SCAN2FX Mesh Modeler module to create meshes or simplified geometry to import as OBJ into Flame.
